State Championship Game at the United Center
On Sunday, March 13th, the Varsity team played New Trier Green for the State Championship at the United Center. Enjoy the photos from this exciting night.
Skate With The Spartans
On Sunday, February 13th, the GBN Varsity players hosted Mite through Peewee Northbrook Bluehawks players for an autograph session and a fun skate. There were also raffle prizes and pizza. Enjoy the pictures of our current and future Spartan players.
Senior Night-2011
On Saturday, January 22nd we said Thank You and Good Luck to our senior players before their game against Warren. The seniors then went out and led their team to a 1-0 victory. Enjoy these photos of the players and their parents.
NISS Tournament-Jamestown, NY
The team traveled by bus to Jamestown, NY in early December to play in the prestigious National Invitational Showcase (NISS) tournament. In three previous trips the Spartans made it to the semi-finals twice. This year they made it to the championship game with wins against top teams from PA, IN and FL, before losing to Holy Ghost Prep, the #2 HS team in PA. This trip is about more than just hockey as you see from the photos. Enjoy.
