Glenbrook North Spartans Hockey

The Metro hockey awards were handed out at the annual Metro banquet on March 16.  The coach of the GBN Spartans, Mark Brunner, received the prestigious Metro North 'Coach of the Year' award.  Coach Brunner lead the team to championship wins in Metro North, the Scholastic Cup, and the State Championship (for the second year in a row).

In the player award category, GBN received two additional awards.  Brian Rooke was named the 'Forward of the Year' for 2008, and Will Dodge was named the 'Goalie of the Year' for 2008.  Congratulations to Coach Brunner, Brian and Will on great accomplishments.
