With summer turning to fall, the advent of the SHL season is upon us. At the SHL Network, we’ve spent the off season upgrading equipment, recruiting new broadcasters, and hiring talented videographers/technicians all with the goal of creating the best viewing experience for you, the loyal SHL fan.

As the SHL season kicked off last night, we entered year 6 of the SHL Game of the Week crew led by Max Anderson and Jimmy Olson. We have higher sights set on the content we’ll bring to the great fans of the SHL, including more in-game graphics, adding time clocks to all SHL Network broadcasts, additional intermission content and much more.

Last year also brought a new type of event: The High School Rivalry Series presented by The Chicago Blackhawks. We were immensely proud to broadcast these events not just for the SHL but for several other leagues as well. The Rivalry Series is back, continuing to showcase the state’s best rivalries; many of them living right here in the SHL. More details, dates and matchups will be announced soon.

In addition, the SHL is working on several other partnerships in order to continue to elevate the elite talent and tradition of high school hockey in the state of Illinois. More to come on those in the coming weeks as well.

As the sub headline introduced, we are grateful to Uline for becoming a Presenting Sponsor of the SHL. We could not produce all of the content, broadcasts, and articles across all of the SHL media platforms without great sponsors like Uline and several others we’ll be announcing over the next couple of weeks.

One last piece of business: Over the last couple of weeks, we have promoted that we are still looking for additional people interested in contributing to the SHL network either on or behind the camera.
