The Jr. Varsity team beat York 7-1 Sunday afternoon to advance to the Blackhawk Cup semi-finals on Tuesday. The team expected to play rival  Glenbrook South but will face Marist, who beat GBS 4-3 following the GBN game.

The game was much closer than the score indicates. In fact, it was 2-0 until GBN scored a goal with 12 seconds left in the 2nd period to make it 3-0. A four goal 3rd period, its second in two games, put the game out of reach.
