The JV team came back from two 3-goal deficits to beat Barrington 5-4 in triple overtime. The win gave GBN its first JV State Championship since 1999.

Though GBN was only 2-4 against Barrington this year both wins were in Championship games. The first was for the HIT Championship two weeks ago.

Coach Blakey couldn't say enough about the poise this team showed throughout the game. They never got down on themselves and always thought they could win this game. That attitude was the difference in the end.
