GBN (25-11-2-1)  hosted the number 1 team in the state Loyola Gold Wednesday and came away with a 3-2 win.

Owen Just scored the game winning goal with just under 11 minutes to play on the power play. Just chipped the puck in recovered a rebound circled the Loyola net worked his way to the middle of the ice and let go a shot that went bar down for the winner.

GBN opened the scoring when Ryan Sandler scored just 3 minutes into the game. Loyola took the lead with back to back goals in the 1st period. Josh Genin tied the score in the second period d  with a power play goal as his slap shot beat Loyola's Bradin Haynie from just inside the left faceoff circle.

Nate Kasdan in goal for GBN made 26 saves many of high quality chances.
