Summer Hockey

This Summer, beginning June 8th and running thru July 30th, GBNHC is excited to continue its partnership with GVN Performance, Chicago’s premier training facility. With a focus on strength and conditioning, the program concentrates on improving mobility, speed, and injury prevention.

This program is intended for all players who will be trying out in the fall for GBN Hockey.

GVN Performance Strength and Conditioning Sessions will be three (3) days a week and will run 8 weeks

Monday, Tuesday and Thursday at 4:30pm and 5:15pm (Each Session will be between 60-75 mins). All players will be assigned a specific time slot. 

Due to limited space, there will not be flexibility on assigned time.

To complement strength/conditioning, and to fine tune their skills, the players will skate (2) two days a week, with one day dedicated to skills, and the other to scrimmages.

GVN will run from June 8th thru July 30th with no breaks



On Ice will be two (2) days a week and will run 6 weeks

On Ice start June 8th and runs thru June 26th

Break June 29th-July 5th

Resume July 6th end July 24th

Skills will be run by James and Joey Sanchez and Goalies will be run by Adam Johnson.

Skills: Tuesday 7:30pm-8:30pm/8:40pm-9:40pm (Goalies 7:00 PM Start)

Scrimmage: Wednesday 5:35pm-6:35pm/6:45pm-7:45pm

Registration and Payment will be on-line only. There will be no payments for the Summer Program via Zelle, Venmo or other service other than the Glenbrooknorthhockey.com Web Site.

As part of the account setup you will need to provide your player's current 2025/26 USA hockey registration number. you can request the number from USA hockey if you need your registration number.
